The Opatija Riviera is located in the Gulf of Kvarner, on the Eastern shore of the Istrian Peninsula, where the sea makes its deepest cut into the mainland.
A line of eight tourist towns with a number of hotels, restaurants, villas, parks and little ports from Volosko to Moenika Draga, stretches within the distance of 16 miles, on a narrow coastal belt at the foot of the Uka Mountain (4,596.50 ft).
It is only a few hours drive from a number of important Western European centers (Milan, Munch, Vienna, Graz, Budapest), within anyones easy reach. |
